An advocate for the hard-working families of Stokes and Rockingham.

Eugene Russell served as County Attorney for 25 years working closely with virtually every department and agency at the state and local level and with municipal, state and federal officials. As a private attorney, he assisted business owners, farmers, factory workers and homemakers with everyday problems and difficult situations.

Eugene has served the community as a Rotarian, a Youth coach in soccer, baseball, basketball, football and wrestling, as a Boy Scout leader, as President of the Community College Foundation. He now serves as Treasurer of the Salvation Army, on the Advisory Board for Aging, Disablility and Transportation Services, as Moderator, Deacon and Sunday School teacher in the First Baptist Church in Mayodan and as Vice-Chairman of the Morehead Memorial Hospital Board.

Eugene has lived out his adult life as a community and a public servant and is now seeking to serve you with thoughtful, common sense representation in the North Carolina House of Representatives.
